Error : Error while scanning built-in and system Apex types

I was getting this error while starting the VS Code or Cursor on a windows machine.

Root Cause

It seems the underlying file got corrupted at some point.

Solution

1. Deleted the .sfdx/tools/apex.db file

2. Restart the VS Code or CUrsor and see if the issue is now resolved.
